Bespoke design & WordPress development for a private jet charter service, featuring real-time quote requests, aircraft fleet showcase and luxury brand experience.
The Challenge
Bookajet is a premium private jet charter service operating across Europe, and their existing website wasn't doing justice to the luxury experience they provide. Quote requests were low, the fleet showcase felt outdated, and the site wasn't optimised for the mobile-first audience that increasingly browses for charter services on the go.
They needed a complete digital overhaul – a website that commanded the same confidence as stepping on board one of their jets.
The Approach
I started with a thorough brand audit and competitive analysis of the private aviation sector. The key insight was that their audience values speed and ease above all else – both in the air and online. Everything had to feel effortless.
The design language draws on deep navy, brushed gold and generous white space – evoking the interior of a luxury cabin. Typography is set in a refined serif for headings paired with a clean sans-serif for body content, striking a balance between prestige and readability.

Fleet Showcase — Each aircraft has its own detail page with specifications, gallery, range maps and pricing tiers. Built with Advanced Custom Fields for easy management by the Bookajet team.
Multi-Step Quote Form — A guided, conversational quote request flow that captures journey details, passenger count, luggage requirements and preferred aircraft type. Integrates with their CRM for instant lead routing.
Performance First — Despite rich media including hero videos and high-resolution photography, the site achieves sub-2-second load times through aggressive image optimisation, lazy loading and Cloudflare edge caching.
GSAP Animations — Subtle scroll-triggered animations and smooth page transitions give the site a premium feel without sacrificing performance. Every animation respects prefers-reduced-motion.
The Results
The new website launched to immediate praise from the Bookajet team and their clients. Within the first quarter, quote requests increased by 340% compared to the same period the previous year. Mobile traffic rose by 68% as the responsive design finally gave mobile users a first-class experience.
