Bookajet
Bespoke design and WordPress development for a private jet charter service, with a custom quote flow, fleet showcase and a more polished online experience.
The Brief
Bookajet is a private jet charter service that needed a website to better match the quality of what they offer. The old site felt dated and did not give the right impression, especially on mobile.
The aim was to create something more refined, easier to use, and easier for the team to manage day to day. I worked on the project in collaboration with Silomedia.

The Approach
The Bookajet team had a clear idea of the kind of homepage they wanted, which gave us a strong starting point for the rest of the site. The direction leaned into a more premium, travel-focused feel while still keeping things clear and practical.
I designed and built a bespoke WordPress theme around that, starting with the homepage and then carrying the design language across the wider site. The visual style used deep navy tones, elegant typography and plenty of breathing room to give it a more confident, high-end feel.
Alongside the design work, a big part of the build was making sure the site stayed easy to use and easy to edit. The goal was not just to make it look better, but to give the client a solid platform they could actually work with.
The quote form was designed to feel straightforward and low-friction. To help improve the quality of enquiries, I also built a dynamic airport search using the OpenFlights airport database and a custom search layer that matches airport names, codes and locations.
Key Features
Fleet Showcase — A custom aircraft section with specification pages, galleries, range maps and pricing information, all managed through WordPress.
Custom Quote Flow — A guided enquiry form designed to capture the right journey details without feeling overcomplicated.
Fully Editable CMS — Flexible content areas and custom fields give the Bookajet team control over fleet content, destinations and page updates.
Performance-Conscious Build — Built to stay fast and responsive even with dynamic content and a video-led homepage, while still passing Core Web Vitals.

The Results
The finished site gave Bookajet a much stronger online presence, with a more polished look, a better user experience and a clearer route into making an enquiry.
It also gave the team far more control over their content. Fleet listings, destination pages and other key sections can now be updated properly through WordPress without needing to rely on a developer for everyday changes.
Just as importantly, the new build improved front-end performance despite the added dynamic functionality and video header. The site passes Core Web Vitals and feels faster and smoother across devices, without losing the richer presentation the client wanted.
The project was very well received, and gave Bookajet a site that feels more in line with the standard of the service they provide.
